Tanduka, a stylish and high quality meat restaurant is located in the heart of the Moshav of Yokneam. This is an out-of-the-way restaurant that is worth finding. The northernmost exit on Highway 6 empties into Yokneam. From there it is a short distance to the Moshava. The road to this restaurant takes you through the Moshava, a lovely quiet neighborhood that is worth a visit.
Tanduka is an excellent down-home restaurant. It is a great surprise to find a restaurant of this quality tucked off the beaten path. The menu is centered around prime meats that are aged on the premises, and side dishes made of locally grown ingredients.
Some of the highlights include the lamb fingers; kebabs of lamb tempura on a bed of techina, tomato, and parsley. Try the gravalux salmon, with sea salt, and salad with orange zest. Or try one of the mouthwatering steaks. There are also many vegetarian dishes. There is something delicious for everyone
