The Benefits of Tea

Good old Tea. The miracle elixir, it seems to be used as a cure all. It’s the British archetypal drink, from mother’s ‘sympathetic chat and a cuppa’, winding down at the end of the day, waking up in the morning or simply getting through the day. I myself love to curl up with a good book and a nice hot cuppa. I’m also starting to wonder if I should be giving the credit to some of my writing to the consumption of said beverage.

What is it that makes us want to drink dried leaves boiled in water?

It is the staple tea consumed in Britain. Approximately 90% of tea drunk in Britain is black tea.

So yes, the masses must agree that it tastes good.
