The Spaghettis

The Spaghettis is the most recent addition to the restaurants in Mamilla Shopping center. Located in the indoor mall on the third floor, it's a reasonably priced Mahadrin Italian family restaurant. The restaurant boasts a warm comfortable atmosphere with bookshelves built into the walls, a full bar and great music. The outdoor section is a beautiful balcony overlooking the old city.

The menu offers spaghetti with over 15 sauces to choose from. They also serve specialty pastas like gnocchi, ravioli, cannelloni and lasagna. In addition to the pasta they offer a wide selection of pizzas and fish dishes. My partner and I went to check it out this past Motzei Shabbat. All the waiters speak English and are very amiable, attentive and helpful.

Kedma

Kedma restaurant, located above The Gap in beautiful Mamilla, is a fine kosher deli. The restaurant was designed to fit right in to the modern stylized promenade rich in history. Enjoy the view from the restaurant’s porch - one of the best vantage points in Jerusalem. Sweeping across the old city one can see from the Jaffa gate, to the City of David, and on.

Kedma prides itself on its Corned Beef. But there are many other delicious items on the menu. For your appetizer the menu offers items such as beef carpaccio and Caesar salad with chicken. The main courses are also special, with dishes like the entrecote steak and slow cooked beef stew. For dessert try the warm chocolate cake, or the lemon pie.

Business lunch: Add 12 NIS to the price of the main course and get a first course, main course and a drink!

Smachot: Kedma hosts parties of up to 60 people inside, or up to 200 people on our porch overlooking the old city walls and the tower of David.

Private VIP room is available for parties of up to 12 people.

Prime Grill

Prime Grill is a new (Mehadrin) steak-house in Tel Aviv. The restaurant prides itself on serving the best cuts of meat, in a great Tel Aviv location. This fine invested restaurant is located just across from the shore in a busy entertainment area of the city.

The menu is... can you guess? Meat. Start with the Prime Meat Sausage, or the grilled goose liver served on a bed of kadaif noodles, date honey and nuts. But it is not just meat at Prime Grill. Don't miss out on the wonderful fish starters like the cold-cured salmon with red salmon caviar, or the ceviche; marinated fish, tabouli salad, tomato seeds and olive oil. You will also enjoy the house focaccia, or a fresh salad.

For the main course prepare yourself for meat and more meat. The menu offers Sirloin Steak, Prime Rib, Filet, Veal, Lamb Chops, and more. They also have some delicious sauces like Chili Pepper, BBQ, 3-Mustard, and Chimichurri. Looking for an alternative Prime Grill also offers several fish options. For side dishes choose from the vegetable menu or the potato menu. There are savory favorites like Chili Potatoes and Fried Potato Skins, or try the Grilled Asparagus, or the Stir-Fried mushrooms.

Oh yeah and dessert. With options like Apple Crumble with ice cream, chocolate mousse and more, this is a great way to top off your meal.
